I have pain at the top outside of my patella (knee cap).?

The pain comes from a fairly specific area at the top outside of the patella on my right knee. If the patella was a clock, I'd say it's happening at 10 to 11 o'clock on the outside edge. Any ideas on what's causing it. I'm 29, male, ok shape... but feel like I'm falling apart..lol.

hurts especially when standing up from sitting... climbing stairs... anything bending. Not severe, but pronounced.

I only have one patella left, it is sore to press, mayhap thats normal? or not.

Does it cause you pain when u sit and stand and on stairs. Or just with pressure. If it is only the latter I don't think I would be too concerned.
But if you are worried seek medical advice.

Goodluck, be safe, be sage

Edit, based on the additional information, well it could be lots of things from osteoarthritis to who knows. Sorry to say it, but time for the doctor.. best you make an appointment I think. Early treatment is best for some things.

It turned out to be a small bone spur at the top of my knee. It's being treated with prescrip. anti inflam. Report It

I've had that. It will go away. It's just a bruise that you can't see. annoying, but it will heal.

HA SOUNDS LIKE ARTHRITIS TO ME AND I HAVE IT IN BOTH KNEES MY SPINE ASWELL YEP PAINFULL GET THE XRAY ASAP GOOD LUCK
