Bump on TOP of patella? |
After working a long day in a physical job (stretching, lifting and squatting), I had a pain in my left knee. I thought it was from working physically, since my regular job is more stationary. The pain felt like a bruise, but I don't remember doing anything that would have caused this feeling. Four days later I had a bump with a slight purplish tinge to it. The bump is somewhat painful when touched. But, it really hurts when I squat down and try to get back up. Or, when I go up or down stairs. I went to the doctor and he said that he isn't sure what it is and the x-rays came back normal. It isn't a bone spur. He is sending me to an orthopedic doctor. Any thoughts on what this could be? It is on the TOP of the patella, so it isn't Osgood-Schlatter disease. Thanks! Ganglion Cyst? |
