Patella Femoral Syndrome & Patella Chrondromalacia?

I have had 6 knee surgeries for these problems within 5 years, and I am only 16. The pain is still bad. I have been to years of physical therapy and medications and any other treatments out there.
Do you recomend anything for this, besides the regular therapy and ice method?
Pain patches?
Surgeries?
etc..

I also have arthritis in my knees.
I am not able to do regular activities.
Im lucky I can walk for 10 minutes without stopping.

Bummer for you!

I was diagnosed with PFS at 16 as well, but it wasn't nearly as bad as yours. Knee braces and lots of motrin, a bit of PT and lots of bedrest were all I did. They are better now, (age 21) but I went to Disneyland a few months ago and my knees went out again (serious pain, locking, giving out, you know the drill) and I was unable to do much for weeks.

Sorry I can't help you more. Heat feels better than ice.

this is too much surgeries for the surgeons to make extra money.
You better see an honest experienced surgeon, please.

This is the Pain & Pain Management category so I'm addressing your pain. Have you tried a Pain clinic?
