What are the names of ligaments behind the patella? |
What are the names of ligaments behind the patella? I think you're referring to the cruciate ligaments. Sounds like you tore 'em. Ouch! Peace and happy recovery to you, Bu. coronary ligaments ??? I call mine Alan and Ralph I believe they are tendons of the quadriceps extensor. If you want the ones in the knee, the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), PCL (posterior cruciate ligament), MCL (medial collateral ligament, and LCL (lateral collateral ligament). There is also the tendons and ligament that attach the muscles of the quadriceps (quadricept tendon). ACL Four ligaments are present in the knee joint, the medical collateral ligament, lateral collateral ligament, anterior cruciate ligament, and posterior cruciate ligament. These ligaments provide strength to the knee joint. http://www.innerbody.com |
