Problem with Parkinson's disease medication. (Patches)?

I'm 79 years of age and live in the U.K.
I have had two heart attacks and I also suffer from very painful osteo arthritis; two months ago I was diagnosed with PARKINSON's DISEASE.
I was prescribed "Neupro (Rotigotine) transdermal patches; I started off using 2mg, then 4mg, then 6mg and finally 8mg.
Because of side effects, I now use 4mg.
If you are using the same patches/medication that I have, please let me know if you have had any of the following side effects, that still bother me - light headedness, always feeling very tired, constantly yawning, get a tingling/numb sensation in my hands, get very bad sessions of hiccoughs and swollen feet, legs and ankles because of water retention.
How do you cope with these side effects and do they eventually stop, after using the patches long term?
I know that I can discuss all of this this with my Doctor, but I thought it might help me, to hear from fellow sufferers.
Any other comments or 'advice' will be much appreciated.

it sounds like you are having a hard time with this
a very close member of my family has experienced swollen feet, being very tired and tingling sensations in his hands but he said that they went away for him after many months of taking a lower dose...but everyone effects differently to the medication, i would give it more time and if that doesn't help talk to your doctor.
