If your parents?

I am very close with both my parents they r still married! We live 12 hours apart. My hubby and I live in missouri, in the process of buyin a house and get great careers in Texas!
My parents health isnt all that good. My husband is leaving the choice up to me. my hubby just in case we go help my parents has a cop job set up for him in indiana so work and money isnt a problem. what would u do? I want texas, but my heart is with my parents. If we skip out of buyin this house would it hurt our credit and if so how bad?

when i was in h.s. and about to start college, my family fell onto hard time. I am very close to my family and wanted to put off going into school for them so that i could help out with my father and his illness. When i told my mom my plans to help out, she looked at me and said, "you've been with us your whole life. You have helped out, and you have been a good kid. Now it's your turn to go out and start a new life, for yourself. Don't let your family's hard times keep you down, just keep us in your hearts and don't stop loving us and we'll do the same. We will still be family no matter where you go." So just remember that you are an adult (assumedly) and it's your life to live, and while you love your family and want to be close to them, they'll understand if you choose to live far away from them.
