My parents and my brother are ******* .?

Hi there , my parents whom i recently discovered as the cause of the death of my dreams , and huge control freaks , on whose paths my brother is going , also another ****** is destroying my life .

These people i dn't even know where to start.
i can't stand being around them .
because of my abusive parents , i had a really bad relationship which has left me severly depressed and anxious ( which i am tryin to overcome)
and has made me not to trust Anyone in my life .

Because of some lease problems we were supposed to move
next month . but it happens we could stay in this same Hell hole for another year longer.
This is such a shock to me because I JUST WANNA START OVER . ( i graduated with engineering degree and just got fired yesterday because of poor absenses ( poor absenses because i listened to this girl and took leaves callin in sick , think ing it will last too , but she left me a month ago )
How can i survive , and find my independence without my parents love and support

Got ahold of yourself! Yes, maybe your family was a bunch of jerks, but you are an adult now and only YOU control your actions and are responsible for them. Stop blaming others and take responsibility! You don't live with your family anymore and can ignore them if you want. Likewise your girlfriend did not put a gun to your head and force you to lie to your employer and call in sick, you chose to do this, and now you are reaping the logical consequence (they fired you). How can you survive? GROW UP like the rest of us did! Where do you get support from? Yourself, by doing things that you believe in and that are good for your personal development. In the final analysis, only you determine your fate.

Deal with one issue at a time. Having a parental issue on one side and a girlfriend issue on the other is just going to screw you brain out more.

I used to be in the same situation. In fact, I often still am. It's hard and tough being with people you can't relate to; people who don't understand you -- I did feel like blaming my parents / friends for the bad luck I faced. I struggled for 10 years with almost no hope of breaking through. I was alone in my struggle, and a lot of times, they'd just mock.

I know you can relate to this. I often feel like shutting the door, the noise of the world and just being with myself. The pain and grief can get to much. the sadness like a 1 ton stone.

We all need our independence from those who we are 'obligated' to be related to. Oftentimes, we just need to listen to ourselves more than we listen to the world.

Peace.
