You haven't said anything about your height or about what your doctor has said to you. Try seeing your doctor and then having your doctor talk with your parents. It depends how tall you are. Look up a body mass index thingy and check to see if you're healthy. If you are over weight and your mom won't help...she's crazy. Next time you go to the store, grab a bunch of healthy fruit to replace junk food. does she buy vegatables? eat those. uhh, try talking to your parents and say "i appreciate everything you give me, but if you keep giving me fatty foods, then i will be unhealthy, and personally, i kinda like being healthy." or somthing. or, exercise more and try to get your mom to buy BAKED chips. Try convincing your parents that you want to start taking better care of yourself. If they do not listen, opt to go food shopping with them and buy some healthy foods with them. Tell them that it's not just for your health but the whole family's health. You can even take a stand and not eat any of the fatty junk she buys for you. You can look up some easy healthy recipes online and offer to cook for the family one day. It doesn't hurt to try. Even if your mom cooks unhealthy foods, you should try portioning out your meals. |

Luckily my parents have been there for me through it all and I couldn't have asked any... There really isn't much you can do for them if they see no problem. You could try a family intervention, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. For yourself, you could look into A... hmmm.... you havn't fully grown(finish puperty) so i can't be sure but if you did then it might be the genes that's doing this. you are 16 and should know that there are two same ... I'm sorry to hear that, I'm guessing there must be some kinda of welfare organisation that can help you, why dun you try finding out? Sorry I can't do much, I'll include you in ... talk to someone at school they will be able to help you and help you to get your parents to listen to you. take care good luck ...If your mum says to eat 300 calories a day, run seven miles and do 400 situps, she might want to measure you for your coffin. 300 calories per MEAL would be closer to reality. And, you can't... |
