Parents think my breasts are too big-help?

I'm 15 with a DDD, but I am about 118lbs and 5'2". My parents(especially dad) want me to get a breast reduction. I have some back pain, and they get in the way of softball(my sport) and bras are expensive. Are they too big, should I get them smaller? If not, how do I deny my parents?!! please answer!!!

Doctors recommend it too, and my mom had one but I don't know if they are too big.

Well, they are very large, but it is up to you. I actually think this is illegal to force your kids into plastic surgery. I think that if you want to get it done, and are aware of the risks, you can do it. Go to a consultation with the doctor who would do the operation, and go wither by yourself or with a friend. Not with anyone who is dictating that you should have it, because they will encourage you to not ask questions. Remember that the doctor will possibly try to dull down the risks because he/she wants you to have the operation so she/he can get paid. It is up to you.
good luck!!!!!!!

yea, no offense but that's wicked big and probably wicked awkward looking
you're a short girl and you probably won't grow much more, i'd def. reduce it to a C

since you are small, huge boobs probably make you look heavier too, you'll look more proportional if you a reduction.

that's just to think about. i think you should lean more to what the doctor thinks, they know best. they'll have the best advice when you should get it done and how much. it's your body though, so do what you ultimatly want to!

Tell your parents that it is your body and your decision. I would definiantly wait until you are at least 18, if not 20. I would guess your parents don't like the attention that you might unwillingly get but having a breast reduction is major and shouldnt be force on you or even pressured.

it should be totaly up to u if u get a breast reduction or not dont let anyone bully u into doing it

Wow, since when do your parents dictate that their kids get plastic surgery?
Yes, your breasts are large---but, don't take breast reduction surgery so lightly. It is not like getting your teeth cleaned. It is surgery! They cut open your skin.

The likelihood is that no plastic surgeon would touch you at your age. Wait until you are 18 and legal and then YOU make the decision. It's your body and nobody (even your parents) should dictate what you should do with it.

It's your body, so it's your decision. But if the DOCTORS think it's a good idea, I would think harder about it...good luck!

Chances are you are not done growing. DDD is a large chest size. I would listen to the advice of my doctor. Back pain will get worse over time and as you get older your chest will likely grow more and cause you more pain. I'd find out about the breat reduction and what size your doctor thinks you should be reduced to.

forget your parents, go listen to a doctor! you might not be done growing yet - go get it checked out.

Do you want to get a breast reduction? Are you comfortable with them that way? It's your decision sweetie.

i have DD's and am totally happy with them. you're only 15. that's way too young to make any decisions now. please wait until youre an adult.

My best friend had your same problem. She is 5'1 and really thin. She was the same cup size too. She was encouraged to get a reduction at a young age but her parents couldn't afford it. She is now 22 and has mild back problems. She has grown two more inches and is still petite. I strongly recommend you get a reduction. Waiting longer will only make other conditions come up. Listen to your doctor. Your parents just want whats best for you. Hope this helped. p.s. don't let a male give you advice on this topic.

That is big, but I'm not sure a reduction is in order yet. You aren't finished growing and if you do the reduction now, there might be problems later. (such as scar tissue pulling oddly etc.) Get a couple more medical opinions. I think eventually you should get a reduction, but you might want to wait till yoiu are 18 at least.
