My parents tell me to kill myself.? |
And they are serious. I am a 30yo 'good girl' (drug-free, mentally stable, in good shape, have a great job). And my parents are just middle class 'normal' people. That's horrible. They probably don't mean it though. If they do, however, that is certainly reason enough to cut all ties with them. Have you thought about running away from home? i'm so sry just stay clear of your parents and focus on your life and DON'T kill yourself i'll pray for you.....stay drug free ect. don't listen to your parents oviously they don't have anything good to say at this point in time....have a wonderful day and stay alive and healthy!!!! Do they really mean that or is it said in a moment of anger? If the answer's yes then you might consider moving out. I would say that that is not normal. You should probably distance yourself from them at all costs and seek help from a professional psychologist. That is terrible that your own parents tell you that. No one should have to put up with that and due to the fact that you can support yourself, get away, far away as soon as you can. Good luck, keep your head up. why wud u even put up with this -- ur 30 years old, working, find another place to live TODAY... maybe this is their way of gettin u to move on with ur life (pretty stupid way of doing it).. Well go away from them.. start your own life... get away from them...y r u still listening to them? Don't do that! Dear, listen to me... Runaway for a short while, stay in a motel, make your parents know how precious you are, then come back. Oh my God !!!!! Your parents have a really twisted sense of humor. or they might need psychiatric help!!!!!!!! DO NOT...WHATEVER YOU DO.... DO NOT KILL YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Tell your parents that they brought you in this world. Tell them that they should shove it. Move out before they hurt you more (emotionally). I would say its time to cut all ties with your parents. How did you end up so stable with partents like that? Nobody should ever have to be around such negative and cruel people. No matter who they are. Stand tall be proud of everything you are and have become. Dont ever let someone else bring you down. Its such a sad thing to think a parent can say that to their child. They are obviously the ones with issues. Keep your head up and keep moving forward. You deserve it and you've earned it. I know there's nothing wrong with you but I doubt your parents are alright .Live your own life !It's beautiful and it is a gift from GOD ! How could a normal person (which is to say: saner than insane) tell someone this? it may be yr misconception since u seemed to driven them in the state of utter despair/depression,so if ur really normal girl ,help them come out of this shocking state by taking care of them properly, considering them mentally ill and change yr own attitude towards yr parents, right way is MEDITATION,if u r truely serious abt. yr life take your parents to a mental center, they need help. I honestly believe that sometimes, regardless of their relationship to you, some people are better off not associating with. I would cut all ties and move on with my life Remind yourself that this is the best thing to do for YOU. You can't control their behaviors or words, the only thing you can control is your reactions... If it was a one time deal, it might be unexcusable (not forgivable) but it sounds like a thing that has happened more than once... it's time to move on for your own sanity i sorry to hear of your pain and sadness. Those are parents with no heart. You need to get out and make your own life. Show them that you are a somebody in life and you can be someone important. You sound like a well educated college graduate that deserves more than what your recieving. Remember, pray to god and have faith on him, n he will help you with everything. If you still live in their house then I do believe it is time to get out. If you do not then remember your life is yours and it is you that makes the choices about you. Parents are people and may have something troubling them that they don't know how to deal with. well my parents once told me that just telll them to screw off Are you serious?!?! I have a ****** up dad, myself, and my mom died when I was 11. Let me tell you something, it's tougher for people like us, but there is so much you can still get out of life. Just cut them out. They're clearly not worth your concern. |
