Can humans get infected with ear mites? |
unknown skin parasites, parasitic skin diseases So most people have said no, ok .... Then maybe i should be asking hmmm...? What parasites (do / can if exposed to) live on humans specifically ears skin, ears, hair. Ive done my research on lice scabies etc. what i cant seem to find is information on is - What are the symptoms one would physically (touch/sensations of) feel/experience with an extream case of lice infestation. - As well as information about more uncommon / unidentified or even bizaar reports of epedemics or cases involving parasites affecting humans-skin. No Abosutley NOT! I can say this with 100% assurance, only cause I asked my vet the other day. All three of our cats had them and she told me they are species specific. Humans do not get ear mite infections. They can, however, have skin parasites & parasitic infections or transmitted diseases. And the parasites and diseases would no doubt be unknown to you. Yes, the ear mites from pets,is very common. They are very contagious, and spread easily to anyone in contact with the pet. Any OTC "athletes foot" medication, containing "miconizole" will be all you need to cure this. The cream is better for large areas, and stays on better, when covered by clothes. Also treat you pet, using a Q-tip and apply to it's ears, usually x 7 days. These "mites" are not normally carried around by humans, but certainly go from infected pet, usually cats to their human caretakers.Much info on Google.Take care.
