Sleep Paralysis Question? |
I have suffered from sleep paralysis since a child.. I always hated it but now I hate it more... For the past few years, when I'm in it, I can feel people punching and stabbing me Of course I don't feel the actual pain but its some kind of uncomfortable feeling... Do any other sleep paralysis people experience that? Also I feel a electrical sensation in my brain when I'm laying down and about to fall into sleep paralysis.. What is that? Pretty much, all of that is your hallucinations while in sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis, as you know, is waking up partially and not being able to move. Because you are still partially asleep, you have dreams (halluninations) that are fed by your inability to move. Been there. Talk to your doctor. There are medications that can help with this. I haven't had it in more than 10 years with my medicine's help. everyone does that. some more than others. You are having a bad dream and not completely asleep. Ever heard of Hypo/Hyper Kalemic Periodic Paralysis Disorder? 1 in 200,000 people have it, like I, and sleep paralysis is a major symptom. It is a kinda serious condition if your potassium goes too high or low, mostly lw you become parlysed. Ever happen during the day ? Muscle weakness, feel like jello, studder when talking, muscle cramps, swallowing difficulties, palpitations? Any or even one symptom can mean your pos. Every one with this illness is different. Eventually it leads to muscle damage if not treated. Very rare, but an idea, the next time you talk to a doc, ask for apotassium count. |
