Sleeping paralysis?

i have sleeping paralysis, and its a very unpleasant and scary experience. I would wake up, conscious, but i can't move. I want to call for help but i cant, i feel helpless. and sometimes if it gets worse, i feel a hard vibration throughout my whole body. is sleep paralysis bad? if you have experienced sleep paralysis, want to share your story?

Hello, I have sleep paralysis. Yes, it is scary. No ,you won't die from it. I discovered I had this when I was 12. I did think I was dieing. My doctor told me what it was. They don't really know much about it. BUT- if you have sleep apnea or are overweight, that can make the Paralysis worse. When I am sleeping and FEEL the paralysis come on---the only way I can get it to stop is if I can get myself to relax enough, I can move eventually. I also notice that it mostly happens when I am on my back with my head to the side. SO , I try NOT to sleep like that. Don't worry to much about this, You will work it out.

Wow.....I thought this question looked familiar, so I read through your other questions. Can you say hypochondriac? You think you're dying/allergic to everything.

Get a life and stop obsessing about your entire body. You have way too much time on your hands.

i never had that before but you should go and see a doctor and talk about this important matter, this is not good for you at all.

if you believe in spirits... i have an answer, if not, dont bother reading this.

THis is because the spirit inside you leaves your body during sleep.... it probably just floats above you, but when you wake up, it might be because your spirit didnt have time to re enter your body.

It could also be because an angry spirit is in your room, and pinning you down. Either of these are the answers. What yuo should do is try to relax and fall back asleep.
