Sleep Paralysis and weird images?!? |
Well I guess you can say I'm under a lot of pressure and stress with the fact that it is my junior year and I have 3 AP classes, SATs, and parents, and things like that. Lately Iv'e been getting sleep paralysis at least twice a week. Iv'e only had the hallucination with it once where I saw this girl standing by my bed. Most of the other sleep paralysis I get is where I feel this weird sensation and I can't move or speak. Earlier this week I woke up in the middle of the night and saw the light on the ceiling like moving like it was jello or something. And I remember like there was light flashing outside my window like there was lightning. When it stopped I was a little dazed and when back to sleep. I don't get a lot of sleep that often. I usually stay up until 1 on average. When I get home from school I just have to take a nap. During school I get sleepy but maybe the teacher is just boring, I don't know.Any tips on how to change this habit? My mom is always nagging me to change this habit, but my parents don't understand how hard this is to get out of. try to sleep on time . otherwise you will destroy your nervouse system. i was the same like you .. it ended up really scary 1 day . my emotions was turned off and i was in trance for 2 weeks . dont forget we are not machines ... dont take a nap at day time .... and try to go to bed at 11 pm everyday . so your brain will get used to it ... just turn of your PC at 11 pm ... your gonna have to start getting up at 6 and staying up till bedtime. It wil be hard but if it stops these sleep habits then its good....yes? Well, I am thirty and I have them occasionally. I feel there is something very sinister and spiritual about these things. They scare the crap out of me. I have had them where I would dream I was dreaming and wake up thinking I was really awake, to find that I was still in the dream. Paralysis seems to add to the fear. I find this one interesting...I learned recently in Psych that our bodies fall asleep (paralysis) when we fall asleep- It happens at the start and end of our sleep cycle. As for the other things happening it could very well be lack of sleep and stress that is causing hallucinations. OR- really off the path of normal...you could be doing some sort of Astral projection and traveling while you sleep! (check it out...it's real!) Good Luck- and take some time for YOU! Let some stuff go. =) |
