Sleep paralysis....does anyone else suffer from it? |
I suffer from sleep paralysis...its where your mind wakes up but your body is asleep like your paralised, its scary @ first im kinda used 2it now, does any one know the cause of this? Or a treatment for it? Or does any1 else have the same condition bearing in mind i wasnt born with it Ye its exactly what your saying im geting it about twice a month now but it comes n gos.....often i felt i woz being held down or choked...did you see any1 bout it?? I have experienced it. It's not a good feeling and I always thought I was the only one. i have that, it is rare now, like a few times a year maybe, but a couple years ago i had an episode like once a week. it was horrible especially since i was 17 at the time. i thought i was dying or gonna die, sometimes i feel like somethings trying to suck the life out me, other times its like i am panicking and cant breath and just about to die. ive tried to open my eyes and eventually i get them open and come back to...... Everyone on my mom's side, my siblings and I experience the same thing. The first time I experienced it was when I was in high school. It was horrible. I noticed that it happens to us whenever we're really stressed out from work/school, and whenever we sleep immediately even though our bodies are still tired. Now I try resting for a few hours before I go to sleep whenever I'm really stressed out just to prevent this from happening. It has worked for me; I hope it does for you too. |
