Sleep paralysis? |
does any1 suffer with sleep paralysis I DO!!!! IT'S AWFUL DUDE!!!!!! Check out astral cataplexy. It happens to many. Many people experience something called a hypnagogic state, which is a sleep stage in which you can't tell if you're asleep or awake. I have them quite often - my hearing alerts me that strange things are going on in the apartment (someone washing dishes in the middle of the night {I live alone}, a dog eating dog food {have no dog}, and many people inside my apartment.). I find it difficult to get out of bed, often feeling as if someone has put a net over me. As in the sense that you try to wake up but you can't. Your mind says WAKE UP but, your body doesn't respond?? Totally s**** !!! Do you use an alarm clock?? Sometimes,a sudden loud noise snaps your mind into allowing your body to move. Have you consulted with a Doc?? How often does this happen. Are you under alot of stress, more so than usual?? Are you having nightmares as well?? I hope this helps. My husband does and has for years. He describes it as believing he is fully awake, but yet he cannot make himself move any part of his body. His eyes are open when this happens, but I do not know if he is really seeing reality or dreams. (I have watched him while it's happening). omigod yes! your kinda awake but kinda asleep..you can't move, scream anything! I've heard a few things..mostly paranormal. In the Bible it says "the soul longs for heaven" so mabey its your soul trying to escape..or it's some king of astro travel...It happens when I sleep with my head either polar north or polar south. try changing your bedroom around it helped me. |
