Cure for paralysis?

my friend being paralysis from below wrist 10 years ago since a car accident. Any cure for him? Pls! need u help!

At this time, I do not believe there is any cure for total paralysis.

It sounds like he has suffered nerve damage, which made it unresponsive to him trying to move his hand (he has probably lost all sense of feeling below the wrist too). When you don't use something, it atrophies (weakens) and that can occur very rapidly. You've said this accident was 10 years ago, so it is highly unlikely he will be able to regain any function below that wrist barring a miracle.

If he had some/any function of his hand below the wrist, there may be hope (as sometimes paralysis is temporary in a pinched nerve, for example) but again, you said it was 10 years ago so I think this probably is not the case with your friend.

At the present time, there aren't really any therapies that restore nervous system function (nerves, brain, spinal cord, etc.) once it is completely lost/dead. However this is one of the things they are trying to study and accomplish with stem cell research/cloning and so on. I do not think there has been any progress yet though.

You can always ask a doctor as well but I think this would be similar to his/her answer.
