Can Benadryl cause sleep paralysis?

I have taken a Benadryl yesterday...I have had a few moments when I ALMOST felt sleep paralysis taking place (when your brain wakes up a bit...while your body is still "anesthetized" and can't be moved). I can't believe Benadryl...of all sleeping aids, would do this!!!!!!

it really is possibel for any sleep aid to do this, of course there may be other things contributing like fatigue or anything effecting your everyday life. like stress
