Has anyone ever experienced a sleep paralysis?

Well I had a sleep paralysis before like 3 or 4 times last week was number 4 for me and ummm I remember the fist time I ever expericend I remember laying on my back in a real deep sleep and waking up but only can open my eyes but couldnt move a muscle in my body or talk it was very scary 4 me! I didn't know what it was till I looked up info the on sunday about it. I alo exspericend sleeping paralysis laying on my stomach with face in the pillow and I couldn't breath it stayed like this for about a couple of minits . I havent seen any gostly images or alians lol I think it has nothing too do with evil at all I just think people mistake it for them still dreaming while awake.

i have, but they last 4 about 2 secs more like spasms

This has definitely happened to me before. I was having a dream that I was talking to god and I woke up and I felt like I was floating and I couldn't feel my body! Sooooo weird! haha (im not that religious either.. thats why it was extra wierd)

no, enless my arm falling asleep at like 2 in the mornin, than, ya, haha, HATE it

Your brain is tricking you. The experience is not common but not all that rare.

There are 2 sleep states, hypnogogic and hypnopompic. I f I can get them straight...
In the hypnogogic state, you are on the verge of sleep when you think you hear a sound...someone calling your name...or maybe you feel like you just fell into your bed from about a foot above it.

The one you describe is the hypnopompic state. You wake from a sound sleep feeling as if you cannot move. It never lasts very long. Sometimes you are able to move afterward... sometimes you just fall back to sleep.

Both are perfectly normal...just oddities of your busy brain.
