Does this normally happen to people who get sleep paralysis? |
Sometimes, if I have several sleep paralysis attacks where I fall back asleep between them, or if I force myself out of sleep paralysis because something frightening is happening, I feel like it hasn't completely gone away for several hours afterwards. It feels tight in my shoulders and my hands are shaky and it is hard to walk in a straight line, and it feels almost exactly like sleep paralysis, except I can move and I'm not hallucinating or thinking irrationally. And no, I have no interest in Satanism or the occult. o_O Um... No... I suggest that you go see a doctor immediately!! that's not sleep paralysis that's freddy kruger. I dont know, but I hate it when it happens. Don't try to force your way out out of sleep paralysis, your brain is paralyising you from acting out your dream in reality, so If you break out of it, your brain thinks your sleep walking and still wants to constrict or half-paralize you to stop you from doing anything even more crazy than sleep walking. It's not all together normal to KNOW that you are paralyzed when asleep, but the paralysis itself is normal. It happens when we are in deep sleep, so that we don't hurt ourselves trying to run, etc. while sleeping/dreaming. Doesn't sound like sleep paralysis. Sounds like you need to see a psychiatrist. I have had this happen to me too. At first i was like , " oh my god, aliens are abducting me!". But seriously, the body gives out certain chemicals to the brain and limbs so that you dont flop around and move during sleep. Most of us hit REM sleep, dream and wake accordingly. Have you always had trouble sleeping,or are you a lite sleeper? There may be something waking you that normally isnt happening, such as a noise or light or such. It may be that you are coming out of a deep sleep when you feel this shakeyness and dizzyness. If your body secretes the chemicals strongly enough to help you not be mobile, then it coulds still be effecting you after you wake up, although i have never heard of it lasting so long. Check with your doctor about this if it continues or go to a website on sleeping troubles. I definately wouldnt ignore these signals your body is sending you. are you fascinated by the occult basically satanic works ??? i also suffer from sleep paralysis... fun, isn't it? ;) ive had sleep paraysis for 8 years and that has ever happened to me,ive had all the worst symptoms of sleep paralysis even seen the entities but ive never had it happen like you described,my suggestion would be to just relax when you notice you have sleep paralysis and dont fear it and you will overcome it alot better.it works for me |
