Panic Disorder research?

I am a panic disorder patient, my panic attacks started after a cycling accident. I hit the ground hard on my left shoulder, braking my coller bone, and dislocating my shoulder under my chin," I was not wearing helmet at the time". I was not treated for my panic disorder, for 9 years, I didn't even know what panic disorder was at the time. I was finely sent to a doctor who told me what was wrong, he put me on Xanax, and the attacks stoped. I became a student of mental illness, I can remember reading about an experiment, where test subjects were given a drug that induced panic attacks. The test subjects were people who had no prior history of mental illness, I think the drug inhibited GABA in the brain. I can't seem to be able to find the web page that describes this experiment. I want to find this, web page so I can print it, and add it to all of the other information I have on panic disorder. Does anyone know where I can this information?

There have been a few studies in which panic attacks have been induced.

With a quick search I found: http://anxiety-panic.com/history/h-1980.... in which many of the studies are listed.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Lots of pages show up when I use the search terms "panic attack" and GABA. My link to this search is below. There should be lots of resources for you to choose from..
