Panic Disorder and school?

Last year i was diagnosed with panic disorder and i had my mum tell my school to inform my teachers so that i could be let out of class if i needed to.

This year i have new, different teachers that don't know about my condition.
Should i tell them, or just wait until they NEED to know?

I think you should definitely tell your teachers. I know this from experience because I have really bad anxiety. I was unfortunate and had a panic attack at school and my teacher didn't know about my condition and was sent out of school in an ambulance during class. It was just a huge horrible mess, and I was fine 15 minutes later. All I was left with was a huge hospital bill and the whole class seeing me break down. I let all my teachers know now and when ever I feel like its gonna happen I just walk out and let them know why I left after wards. Your teachers will have to be understanding. Well at least they have been to me.

you could possibly have school phobia as well (if you dont like to be IN school)
i think it is important to tell your teachers in case you have a panic attack. i mean, they come on so sudden. i have the exact same diagnosis and i have not be in classes for over 4 months now....kinda sucks....but what can you do...

best wishes.

first of all:

what is your diet like?
what exercise are you getting for 15-60 minutes per day?
what relaxation techniques are you practicing twice daily 20 minutes each session?

address these and the original causes and conditions of your "condition" and it will cease.

ask your mum to write a letter
privatly to the school
so you dont get into trouble

the only problem is ,your mom is enabling your disorder. If you do not face it now it will get worse. I think you should find a therapist and deal with the issue, avoiding it will not work forever.
