Is there a medication out there for Panic Disorder that doesn't cause weight gain ( except for Wellbutrin? ) Weight gain is only a possible side effect, and if you have true panic disorder, a few pounds isn't going to be a big deal once you get your panic attacks under control. I was on Xanax, which was great, and didn't cause any weight gain for me. For more long term stuff, I was on Lexapro, and that didn't cause any weight gain either, and Effexor XR actually caused me to lose weight. Hope this helps some, and hope you get help!! Panic disorder is treatable in therapy. |
