Genetic Pancreatitis. Is there anything new I don't know that will help?

Mine isn't too bad except when it flares up, and I follow the dietary guidlines which help. But is there anything new I don't know about? My Uncle just died of Liver Cancer, My sister and and my other uncle, that uncle's brother all have Chrones disease. My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. Is there anything new that I should be aware of?
