What Natural/Chinese Therapy in conjunction with Chemo can be used to fight Pancreatic Cancer?

Someone close to me has been given literally a couple of months to live because of late diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer with secondary cancer of the liver... I am shocked, totally devastated and angry all at the same time.. Im trying to find some information on Chinese/Natural therapies to help this person while they are given Chemotherapy..

Any advice really appreciated xx

I understand your anger and your desire to help, but when a person goes through a treatment they need to retain their trust in the treatment and the doctor providing it, otherwise the best treatments may prove useless or harmful. Placebo effect is powerful. Mixing therapies does not necessarily help the survival ratio. The will to live needs to be worked on. Also helpful is faith in a Higher Power, governing the length of ones life, not a doctor or treatment. These are the natural life extending therapies. Also there are excellent books written by the survivors of the terminal cancer, please give as many as you can to the patient to prove that many people live long and happy lives, despite doctors predictions. You are a good person, be there to listen, to support, and to pray if the patient wants to, and believe that miracles do happen. Good luck!

The side effects of chemotherapy can have a devastating effect on the body. Therefore, as a qualified Herbalist, I can strongly recommend a Bio-compound called Biostrath. It will counteract all the harmful effects the patient will experience.
Cancer of the liver can be very swift. I would recommend taking a tea made from Red Clover (Trifolium Pratensis) and Milk Thistle. Milk Thistle contains a compound called Syllinimum and acts as a healer and restorative of the liver.

Check out these. No experience, just did a search. Hope it is helpful.

"2. Middle- and late-stage pancreatic cancer not suitable for surgery. In a study employing 58 patients, subjects were evaluated for survival rates as well as gastrointestinal reactions to radiation and chemotherapy (nausea, diarrhea, poor appetite). Some patients also had abdominal pain and/or jaundice. Group A received radiation and chemotherapy alone. Group B also received an herbal formula to boost qi (vitality) and invigorate the blood.

Results: Group A had a one-year survival rate of 50 percent and a two-year survival rate of 21.4 percent. Group B reported 80.0 percent and 46.6 percent for the same time periods. Abdominal pain disappeared completely in 57.1 percent of group A, and 83.3 percent in group B. Jaundice was reduced by 50 percent in group A and 76.7 percent in group B. For gastrointestinal reactions, 11 patients in group A reported elevated distress (above grade II in the WHO classification), with only four patients reporting this in group B. (Li Peiwen, p. 67-68)"

"In September 2003 Felicity Corbin-Wheeler was struck down, literally overnight, with terminal pancreatic cancer and given less than six months to live.

The story of her recovery, based on vitamin B17 and her Christian faith, is the stuff of miracles.

Felicity is just one of thousands people who are claiming that vitamin B17, extracted from seeds and kernels such as those found in apricots, is a God-given cure for cancer first described in the book of Genesis."

This is nutritional support to consider during chemotherapy and or radiation treatments. My father had lung cancer and this is what he was on as he became very weak from the chemo. This really helped him. These are all vitamin supplements. You should always check with your doctor so he can monitor your progress.
