Pancreatic cancer foods?

is there anyone with food ideas for my dad, who has no appetite due to pancreas cancer and pain?

My mom died of pancreatic cancer 2 1/2 years ago. It was difficult to convince her to eat. If your dad is still conscience, I suggest that you fore go trying to feed him and just make him as comfortable as possible. I cared for my mother at home and eventually opted to keep a continuous IV drip to keep her hydrated and as a way to administer pain medication. If your dad wants to eat, but has no appetite, I suggest marijuana. He may not want to smoke it, but you can smoke it for him and blow it on his face so he can inhale. This also helps with the pain. If he does get an appetite, I suggest you not try to feed him any solid foods and stick to the supplement ENSURE. Keep his foods light and liquid. Consumes, broth and teas. My heart goes out to you, and I know how desperate one becomes trying to alleviate a loved ones pain. I encourage you to talk to your dad's doctor to give him any and all medications necessary to make your dad as comfortable as possible. In my case, I spoke with my mom about her choices before the pain became to bad, and she wanted to be fully sedated until her time came. The dietetics department at your hopsital should be able to supply the range of nutricious drinks known here in the UK as "Fortisips".

In my experience, many patients have said that food that is a little more fragrant and different tasting, such as indian, mexican, cantonese etc... makes them feel a bit more of an appetite.
