Pancreatic cancer project help (cancer help needed in general actually)?

i know most stuff about the cancer, but where in the cell cycle does it directly effect to body. i know what it does, but i need help digging a little farther. also i am doing a part on the whipple procedure. my question here is how does that help keep homeostasis and effect the cell cycle. i know the surgery stuff, but not quite how to connect it back. how does removing the problem help the cell cycle get back on track? i really need some help here! thanks to all!

here is a link to genetics and pancreatic cancer..and a link that it is also linked to smoking..

This procedure is something about, removing the portions with cancer. It does nothing to the cell cycle as such.
