Patrick Swayze diagnosed with pancreatic cancer?

so a great hollywood actor (patrick swayze) has pancreatic cancer - the worst form of cancer of them all with no cure.
He apparently has 5 weeks to live which is untrue as his doctor said he is responding very well to the treatment. DON'T believe everything what the media puts out.
The majority of patients do die from this type of cancer as with all forms of cancer.
I wish him well and I know he'll try to fight this illness to carry on doing what he does best.
it will be sad when he does die. But hopefully he'll be around for a long time yet.

I just hope some good will come of his battle, and eventual passing... perhaps a little more attention will be paid to pancreatic cancer research, which is so badly, badly needed.

My mother died of it in 2004 after battling it 18 months, and it is a fate I would never wish on my worst enemy... it is a far too cruel way to die.

We should pray for him and his strength. Not assume he's going to die next week and we'll forget all about him when someone else has a terminal disease.
