Question about painkillers. please help :(?

last night i started my antiobiotics for a tonsil infection i've had for about a week. following that (after about 20 minutes) i took the painkillers (tridural) that i was given by my doctor. i do have anxiety and i was already a bit shaky and not feeling myself but i was still normal and ok. i took my migraine medication and then after a bit i started to become really shaky and anxious as well as nauseous and dizzy. i am unsure whether it was the painkillers, a panic attack (which i've had before) or a mix of the medications (which my doctor didn't think would be a problem). so now do i just deal with the pain of my throat? how do i know what caused this?

if it was a problem from the medication you dr would have more than likely knew about it. but some drs do make mistakes. but it sounds like a panic attack.

I would call your doctor and explain what happened I am sure that he can help you find a solution. good luck

could be a mixture of all the meds combined. try calling your pharmacist and asking if the meds will interact with one another.
everyone's body is different because your doctor said that he didnt see a problem mixing the meds doesnt mean it would affect you.
continue your antibiotics, and try gargling with warm salt water (1/4 tsp in 5 oz of water) to help with your throat pain.

Tridural alone can make a person feel any of the above symptoms. Tridural is fine to take with any anxiety medication.
Call your doctor and ask for a different pain killer with a different chemical classification. that should help.

Call your pharmacist and ask about drug interactions between the two. The pharmacist usually knows much more about it than the doctor. I would start with that.

hello my friend .... I dont think that the antibiotics becouse anxiety is related to brain ... and antibiotcs mechanism of action dont include anything in the brain .... the pain killer u are using have an off-label action it can reduce migraine ... but in ur case it increased becouse u took another anti-migraine drug so maybe their action antagonized each other
Call u doctor and tell him that Tridural ( tramadol ) have an off-label use in migrane and can effect u

I would think that it would be the mixture of the meds. Maybe try taking less than what the doctor said to take per day. You shouldnt take the headache medicine too because the painkillers should help that too.

Panic Attack.
