Mixing Painkillers?

I weigh 100 pounds and usually when I'm in pain I take one ibuprofen, the one with the 400 written on it.
Today, I wasn't even in any pain and I took two just for the hell of it. After about an hour my head, neck and ankle started to hurt so I asked a friend if she had any painkillers. I then took two Midol, and to be honest I don't really even know what that is. After about half an hour to an hour I started to feel really tired and weak, and everything started to feel really heavy.
So my question(s) is:
-What are the effects of mixing different types of painkillers?
-How much does it take to overdose?
-What are the effects of mixing painkillers/cold medicine (decongestants, etc.) with alcohol?

What are the effects of mixing different types of pain kllers? It depends on the pain killers that yor take First/DONOT mix any medicine unless your doctor tells you to.I personally am not sure of the amount needed for an overdose. Why tempt fate. 400mg. of iburofen that you took for pain, will cause your stomach bleed and probably cause some type of esophageal problem. {Throat}You said that you also took Midol also} Read the directions on the bottle. If you are still not certain, call a pharmacist. Midol is generally taken for premenstrual pain and cramping, bloating etc. The effects of taking any medications can cause death. You were fortunate this time , let's hope it doesnt happen again. You sound as if you thought the mixing of pain medicine with other medicine would either cause a serious problem or you wanted to not feel whatever you are experiencing inLIFE,not DEATH, i certainly ask you to discuss this with your parents, a counselour, your DOCTOR,please. Some medications may cause you to stop breathing, have seizures, vomit and get it aspirated, which means you get the vomit in your lungs.

I hope the Midol helped your menstral cramps.

400mg of motrin isn't terrible...
midol is for PMS sx.. and you shouldn't take things if you don't know what they are or what they're for, for goodness sake, where's the commen sense.

NEVER do it mixing pain killers can kill you i don't have experiment with this but all i know is its bad !!!!!!!!!1
Please don't do it Save your self and your family the pain

I don't know that I believe you. Why would you take 800mg of ibuprofen for the hell of it. It doesn't make you high, unless you are shooting for a bleeding ulcer! sounds to me like you are just putting something out there for a school paper - wtih the overdose questions and alcohol questions. Either that or you really are naive and can't read labels.
