Wat painkillers to give when teeth are being knocked out?

my friend was in a fight and this guy punched him and two of this teeth were knocked out. the teeth were put back in place by a dentist and he was given panadol but the panadol isnt strong enough and he is in a great deal of pain. what other painkillers are given to such a patient?

he didnt have any alcohol

Tell him that NO painkillers work with alcohol in the system.
When he is sober, he will feel less pain.
