Question bout painkillers?

Do all painkillers including ones off the market leave you sort of high and giddy, like vicodin for instance, or not?

(I'm honestly just curious...I dont plan on taking any -.-)

No! Different painkillers come in different categories according to what part of the pain-sensing systems of our bodies they work on. NSAIDS (like aspirin) or Ibuprofen; or other drugs like acetaminophen (regular tylenol) do not produce such effects. That's just to name a few.

Only if you take too many. :)

Pain medication affects different people in many different ways. I take several medications for my chronic back pain (after 4 Surgeries) and wear a patch that constantly absorbs into my body at a specified rate and only you and your doctor can decide which pain medication that you should take for the specific reason at any time. Most people will take pain medications at some point in their life and they are the only ones that can tell you how it affects them.

Sorry but if you take to many you can die , no wonder the Nurse said that,, she must take them and DON'T need them
Fact: you do not get high on them if you really need them ,
Most people dont get high , but if they do then they need a lower dose, or really dont need them at all
I have severe back problems , I take pain killers None have ever made me high I have given to a friends that say they hurt , and they get high on half of a half so they really didnt need them ,,
Don"t start taking them
