Can you die overnight from taking a bottle of painkillers?

Will taking a bottle of painkillers overnight kill you the next morning?

the painkiller is Advil

Depends what painkillers. They affect your organs differently. Death from non-narcotic painkiller overdose is usually slow and painful, as your organs shut down.

depends on the pain killers, but most likely youd end up in pain and probably vomit them back out, doesn;t sound fun to me.

no, taking that much advil will just damage your liver, which may kill you after several weeks months or years but certainly not over night. you'd have better luck telling your father you're pregnant

Yes you can die Overnight from taking a bottle of painkillers, depending on the quantity of painkillers in the bottles

I really don't think you'll die from taking a bottle of Advil, but you will probably develop some severe gastric pain and reflux. I don't mean a little heartburn. I mean the kind of pain that will make you wish for death! Why are you asking this question anyway? Are you contemplating suicide? Baby doll, death comes in it's own time, don't rush it! I'm sure that if you sit down and weigh the pros and cons, you'll see that it's all not really that bad. If you are depressed, you really need to see someone NOW! However, for some strange reason, I don't feel like you're asking this for yourself. The reason I say that is b/c your avatar has on a Santa hat. You're obviously excited about the holidays, and I don't see that happening from someone contemplating suicide. Anyway, if it is you, and if you need a friend, you've got one. Just remember, whether this applies to you or someone you know, death is the ultimate finality. There is no tomorrow, no next week, no holidays, no birthdays, etc. Self-inflicted death is a cowardly and selfish way out of a temporary situation. I'm assuming you are Christian, due to the Christmas-themed avatar, which means suicide is maybe not the best way to try to get to heaven early. You know, murder is murder, whether it be killing yourself or someone else. The only difference is, w/ suicide, there is no repenting. Once it's done, there is no time to ask for forgiveness. I'm not really sure what happens, but who wants to test the notion of a possible eternity in hell? Surely the probs on the plate aren't worth all of that!

Well, I am sure that you can figure this out on your own. What I think isn't important though. I hope you are not thinking of suicide.

Take a look at what is going on in your life. A real; good look, with a friend or trusted loved one to help you go through what ever it is that is getting you down.
With the holidays right around the corner, ppl shouldn't take a question like this, making it hypothetical. It is a serious thing to talk about suicide.

Our problems are such temporary things. They even seem trivial after a while.
But dying is something that well not go away. You can 't take it back!! !! !!!

Plus it is a VERY selfish and permanent answer to a temporary problem.

So if you are thinking of it, call this number: 1.800.suicide, and talk to who ever answers the phone. You can call that number 24/7.

No, you'll probably just be charged with petty theft.

With Advil yeah you probably can ibuprofen which is what Advil is, is an acid that thins blood which is how it works to reduce pain. An overdose can lower your blood pressure to a dangerous level and stop the heart. also (and this will be very pain full) it can eat the lining in you stomach and can cause bleeding and if you have enough in you system at once this really could happen over night, especially if you regularly take anti inflammatory medications.

no, not advil, you'll feel really studpid and feel like crap.... don't go for tylenol either, it won't kill you, just destroy your liver, long, slow, painful death...
