Pain relievers,,,,?

if i were to over dose... on pain relievers.... alil bit ago.... is there any thing i can do by myself to help.. like besides go ot the ER or something.... like maybe exercise or eat or something to stop the effect of the drugs?

this depends on a couple of things

-was this an accidental overdose or intentional? if done on purpose to harm yourself-then i would seek psychiatric treatment right away.

-how much did you take? if you've taken way over the recomended dosage (10 or more pills) then you need to report to the emergency room at once. do NOT drive yourself-have someone take you or call 911. even tylenol can be deadly if you've taken too much (over 4000mg in 24 hours)

exercise, eating,or sleeping will not help the effects of the drugs if you've taken a considerable amount. your body is going to metabolize and break down the pills regardless of what you do. exercising might make you worse b/c it increases your heart rate and blood pressure which is already under stress from the drugs.

i would go to the er and be checked out. your stomach might need to be pumped, you might need to be given charcoal, or you might need i.v medications to flush out the drugs and none of this can be done for you at home!!

well you dont wanna go to the doctors do you?
then remember; a apple a day keeps the doctor away

No if you have overdosed, you need to contact a doctor either in person or by phone. Don't hesitate because it depends on the drug you took what the consequences can be. Even Tylenol can be harmful and deadly if taken in excess. I urge you to seek help.

CALL THE POISON CENTER... 1-800-222-1222
Drink some milk or something to make yourself vomit. But you really should get help. Although if you really did overdose you would not be on here now.
