Pain relievers and alcohol? |
so basically it is. I had pancreatitis about a little over a month ago due to a virus that attacked my pancreas. I have been put on pain relievers and I also drink. Ive seen things that say thats not the brightest thing to do. They show three or more are bad. But what if its just the daily drink? Will that still do the same amount of damage as the chronic drinker? Yes. your worrying is going to do more damage than drinking. Have no pain pills but one beer. But eat a good meal with that beer. I've been told by a GP that your kidneys really take a beating when you drink any more than a standard drink a day and take pain killers, it's possible to lose some kidney function. I had a great aunt who died at 46 because she mixed them. It doesn't matter how much of anything because different amounts affect people differently. |
