Do pain relievers give you a toothache? |
It seems to me sometimes when I'm having a bad back or neck day (have had surgery), and take more pain meds than usual, the teeth I have had problems with start to really hurt. Does anyone else have this problem or know why it would happen? no, you could have a sinus infection... the pressure from your sinuses could be making your teeth sensitive. ` Kindly take advice from the doctor, who did the surgery. Pain medicines like percocet and oxycotin can make you clench your teeth really hard. If you take them for back pain, wear a night guard to bed. I took perocets for burns and ended up cracking two of my molars. Advil is a better pain releiver for tooth pain, but you should take nexium with it to protect your stomach. |
