Any natural pain relievers?

i was in a car accident aug 21/07 and am suffering from soft tissue damage in my neck and back, I have been taking painkillers and muscle relaxants but i feel dopey all the time. any suggestions?

Switch to a lower dose of your drug, or if you're taking narcotics, switch to an over the counter drug. Above all, talk to your prescriber.

BTW, if you're very thin/small, the dose of your drug may just plain be too high. Some overworked doctors don't take your size into account....which is dumb.

try to get a referral for physical therapy. ice and heat will provide temporary relief.

massage my be useful. glucosamine and chondroitin tabs helped me with rebuilding tissues.

Hypnosis would have few side effects. Some actually like it.

Fresh pineapple has a natural pain releiver in it, and willow bark is the basis of aspirin.
