i dont want to go to the doctor and im not sick i just have head akes that make me feel like my head is going to explode i drink lots of water and stay heathy but it dosent work.please help me

First of all, you really need to see a doctor. Headaches can occur for a number of reasons. Some quite serious. In the meantime, try heat at the base of the skull at the neck. Massaging the area where the pain is helps. Also Reiki is very affective and usually if it doesn't work it's because there is something bigger going on.

Do you get headaches all the time? I suffer from severe migrains and have done so for the past 4 years. I have taken many prescription medications for them, and honestly, none of them are FABULOUS. Aside from the prescription medications the best over the counter med I have found is Excedrin Migrain. They work great. The active ingredient in it is caffeene. I usually take two of them, then lie down in a dark room. I sometimes put a cold wash clothes over my eyes and forehead. It also helps if you are in a quiet environment. (obviously)

hope this helps

Here is a great website that you should check out on the neti pot. This is for someone with headaches caused by allergy or sinus problems. I bought one & it works! I seen DR. OZ on Oprah & this was a thing that can help! http://www.lime.com/blog/savasthi/5233/t... Another thing that you can do & WORKS is to "squeeze tightly" in the middle muscle between your thumb & index finger. This will be a little uncomfortable, but it should. Hold on to this pirticular area until you feel your heartbeat in that area. Believe it or not you will start to feel the release of your headache. I have my husband do this all the time & it totally works quicker than the meds.

Well, first line of treatment in headaches (migraine? pounding, light bothers you and you want to be quiet and in bed? sleep relieves it?) is lifestyle change.
Unfortunately, in the presence of headaches, OTC pain relievers will 'reve' them up so to speak and start making them worse. Analgesic headach rebound syndrome. Google it! Decongestents also make them worse.
If stopping them and regular sleep and exercise have no effect then you do need to see a doc! There are very effective meds to stop a headache..within minutes!
Ask your doc about seeing a headache specialist in your area.
One last thing: worsening headaches are a bit of a flag medically and you should probably have an MRI of the brain.
