Is it safe to take anti depressants and over the counter pain relievers at the same time? |
Is it safe to take anti depressants and over the counter pain relievers at the same time? With such things as tylenol or advil thats fine. I take anti depressants and i take a advil every once in a while. I would check with your doctor or at least your pharmacist before mixing the both medications. It's safe to take OTC pain relievers, Tylerol, Motrin, Alleve. But be careful with OTC pain meds or other OTC meds with Benadryl with it if you are taking sleep medications too. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before doing this. You should be okay, but checking with your Doctor is probably your best bet. You can also check out http://www.webmd.com, type in the name of your medication, and it should come up with a list of medications it cannot be taken with. It is a very helpful site. Good luck. ask ur doc!! you can take asprin but that is all |
