Chest pain/fluttering/dp?

What is your question? I have had severe anxiety/ and 24/7 depersonlization for 5 years now. I've been on every medicaiton under the sun, and nothing seems to help. Now, about 4 months ago, I developed trouble breathing and chest pain. The pain is on the top of my breast area (where the first two bumps are beside the sternum). and in the center of my chest. It is very tight, uncomfortable and occurs 24/7. I also get heart fluttering a few times a day.That scares the krap out of me.. It's hard for me to function with depersonalization 24/7, let alone this chest pain and trouble breathing.......I have had 4 trips to the emergency room, 2 EEGs (normal), a spiral CT (normal), an electrocardiogram (normal), lung xray (normal), bloodwork (normal). Everything is normal ...I am currently on Predisone dose pack, Xanax when
I need it, and Buspar........Everyone says I'm normal, but that can't be. I drive myself nust everyday, which makes my DP worse as well....Can you help????

Panic attacks will definitely make your heart flutter, shortness of breath, and give you chest pains.
It seems like you are really having a tough time.
You must be seeing a lot of professionals if you've had so many tests.
Don't give up. Sometimes it just takes perseverance to find the right answer.

sounds like a panic attact. relax you cause everyone to think you are a hypocondriac. (you are, it happens when you have depression) get out and do something for other people. dont talk about yourself help them. get your mind off of you. it will help i promise. excersise and eat healthy. it wont go away but it will help.

you need a primary doctor that you trust &respect;listen and follow what he/she recommned to you or you might be having a lot of stress...think about your situation...changed what you can ...good luck........

Ok this would sound strange but... have you tried meditation? I meditate every day because I have issues with depression and anxiety and that really does help. At first it's hard, I won't lie. It's hard to quiet the mind. Everntually though, you learn to let go and realize you can do it, and it does help. There are so many books, DVDs, and CDs on meditation there is too many to list. It depends on your personal taste. I like listening to Buddhist Monks chant and new agey music ...some people don't. Amazon.com and ebay have a lot to choose from. I would really recommend meditation....it certainly can't hurt and it has no side effects!
