Chest pain heart related?

Can someone explain where chest pain usually means something wrong?

I get a lot of sharp, sometimes dull pains on the side of my left breast sometimes, and sometimes under it too. I went to the hospital one night because I started getting nervous and he did an EKG. And said he doubts its heart related. I went to my cardiologist and he says Im too young, even though my mother, who is 46 just had quadruple bypass 6 months ago, failed and had stents put in a month ago then had a isechmic stroke and went blind for 12 hours.

I dont understand. My mother has CAD, yet he wont test me by doing a stress test or catherization!

But does anyone know if the chest pain im having can mean angina or is it usually worse or somewhere else? I also get really bad burning back pain, like, right near my shoulder from time to time in the same spot.

And sometimes when I get the chest pain, my arm will feel wierd. I had an EKG done a few times, a cardiac blood workup and just MVP was diagnosed with slight regurgitation.

Its not gas. Iknow that pain. Its a shark pain, like a stinging that comes on while im laying down or walking or whatever.

My cholesterol was high last year, but i bought it down to LDL=96, HDL, 39

I wish I could find out if I have blockages, but he sees no point in checking.

I would tell him you want to see a heart specialist, and if he won't send you to one, go to another doctor. There may not be anything, but you need to set your mind at ease. Stressing and worrying about it can produce the symptoms.
