ANXIETY CHEST arm, pain? |
has anyone who has anxiety ever has numb fingers or hand tight upper chest or any chest pain and arm pain like sharp aching pain and needle pain ion the armpit area and like a tight band abouve the boobs.or burning in the chest neck pain? Thanks. Yes, I have had these symptoms. I deal with Anxiety and have for many years. um, yeah....doc call'd mine stress, but u kno, same thing but different. i've had the tight chest pain thing in a real way....kinda felt like my arm wen to sleep n stuff...so yeah.....also, caffine, not a good idea when ur feeling that way cuz it can contribute to some of the pain in ur chest/boobs....tell a doctor though they'll have better way to deal with it... I had something like this and thought it was just job stress. When the pain got towhere I could not stand it anymore I finally went to the doctor who told me I had shingles. It is adult onset of chicken pox, must have had the chicken pox as a child to get it. VERY NORMAL! Yes anxiety leading to hyperventilation will cause those symptoms because your body is not getting enough oxygen. However if you have never been diagnosed with anxiety than you can not rule out a cardiac origin. See your physician immediately to confirm diagnosis. If you have had these symptoms before and have a history of anxiety but something about the symptoms is different see a physician immediately. It is not impossible , much patients of anxiety come with these symptoms due to several reasons one of them being gas entrapped in fundus of stomach. But as the symptoms are that of a typical angina pectoris, i.e. less blood supply to the heart muscles, U should consult a cardiologist before arriving at the diagnosis. |
