Relation of paget disease of bone and giant cell tumor .?

G.C.T is a sometimes malignant tumor of bone I want to know that is there any relationship between this tumor and paget disease as the osteoclasts are involed and if there was there any research on the use of osteoclast inhibitors in treatment of these types of tumor or not

I don't know haw specific of an answer you need, but I know that in general Giant Cell tumors are rare, except in people with Paget's disease. Both are conditions which allow the rapid growth of bone and both conditions are benign (non-cancerous.)
