Nipple rash, Eczema or Paget's Disease??? |
I have had the itchy, red, scaling, rash on my nipple and around my areola for about 4 years now. This last breakout has lasted for approximately 4 months STRAIGHT. My bra sticks to my nipple and when I take it off, it peels off the top layer of skin from the oozing getting stuck to it. It is MISERABLE but only on the areola and nipple. Could this be pagets disease? Has anyone else been diagnosed with Paget's? Without knowing anything about your history, I would suggest that you visit your doctor or at least a local medical clinic so that you may have a breast examination and mammogram. I must admit that your symptoms do sound an awful lot like pagets disease, although its possible that you just have a glandular infection. See you doctor soon to alleviate your fears, and in the meantime use a warm damp cloth on your breast to soothe your pain and itching. ewwww, thats gross! remind me not to suck on em! |
