A Health Question... About Breasts?

I am a 15, nearly 16 year old girl and my breasts are a size 34E. On my right areola (never the left) there is a constant rash that is sometimes a sore or a crusty inflamed area for about 8 months.

I've been to my doctor about it, for which I was prescribed an eczema cream (which he believes it is.) It worked for about 2 weeks but it hasn't worked since then, it just coming back.

It's extremely sore and can be itchy. I am convinced it's not eczema though because even when I do not itch it it turns into a weeping cut regardless.

My best friend and I were discussing it and she said a friend's friend who was 22 had the exact same symptoms and was diagnosed with Paget's disease of the breast. I have researched this and it is just like my symptoms. Which has worried me, although I am very young for breast cancer. I want to talk to my doctor about it but I'm going with my mum so I'll feel stupid.
I don't know what to do, am i being silly or could I be right?

Please help me!!!

I only mention my breat size incase it could increase or decrease the risk of possible breast cancer.

What does your rash have to do with your bra size?

your mom is the one u should talk to not your friends, so please talk to your mom,no one is to joung or to old to have cancer good luck

Even if it isn't Paget's disease, if the medication that your doctor prescribed for eczema is not clearing up your rash, it's time for another doctor's visit. Certainly do ask all the questions you want and raise all the concerns you want. Better be safe than sorry.

I think if you are worried about your health then you should never feel like you are being silly. Talk things over with your doctor and raise your concerns about Paget's disease, if you feel like you are being fobbed off with eczema as the culprit then seek a second opinion or even change doctors if you have to!!!!

Hope you get on OK, good luck!!!

go and get 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 77 different opinions from different doctors. keep going until you find someone who will listen to you. if they keep saying the same thing tho, they are probably right

You should go to a doctor. Better to know whats really wrong now. Ask the doctor if you could talk to him or her alone. Good luck.

hun, i dun think ull ever be stupid!
i mean hes a doc and this is ur mom and u're worried, its never stupid to ask about ur thoughts and stuff!
besides hun, ur mom is the one u should talk to, shes older and knows better than ur friend.
i think u should see another doc hun, and no1 is too young for breast cancer (dun wanna make u worried though!)
just go to another doc hun, talk to ur mom, talk to him and im sure everything is gonna be ok.
good luck and take care =)

i noe sumone who had the same problem but it went away on her she just put on the cream prescribed n besides you have to give it time so just put on the cream and besides u can have breast cancer at any age, but if u think u have somthing serious just speak to ur doctor

You should talk your mom about problem that you have. And I think you should goes see your doctor about you having problem with your rash. They might give you the treatment for it. Your mom should taking you to the doctor.
