What is wrong with me? Please help? |
Since winter has started, my areolas have become dry, and they itch like crazy. I looked things up on the internet, and I read that it could be Paget's Disease, but I'm scared because I'm only 16! Could it be because of the weather and because my skin is dry? Would the doctor that prescribes me birth control be able to help me with this? I wouldn't worry! In the winter my skin gets really dry too, and the only part of me that itches like crazy are my breasts. I'd just try a moisturizer (use one that you'd use on your face - the skin on your chest is just as delicate) and apply it twice a day or so. Don't worry so much!! It is dry skin, put cream on. If it doesn't help, then you can worry a little and ask your doctor. You are okay, you are just young and anxious. yes your doctor would be able to help you with this but it sounds to me like it has a lot to do with the cold dry weather Do you moisturise your breasts and areolas when you moisturise the rest of your body each day? If not then I recommend doing that. When I was your age mine used to itch as well, I'm not sure if it is a part of ageing or them growing. |
