Itchy breast. Help!? |
For about two weeks now I've had a severe and annoying itch all over my entire breast. I haven't changed detergent and my eating habits are the same so I'm not sure what it is. I've googled it and the same things keeps coming up. Paget's disease. And it seems to make sense about the itching, but the thing is, I'm only 18. There isn't any discharge coming from either nipple and there isn't any scabbing. I can't seem to find any change in either breast, they just itch..bad! The danger of self diagnosis! I'd go to the doctor rather than worrying about it! You'll make yourself crazy, or you can go to the doctor and at least KNOW what is going on. Do you live in a colder climate area? In winter weather your skin dries out and cause severe itching. Try applying a moisturizing lotion right after your shower. I get itchy boobs when winter sets in. The dry air makes your skin dry, and your boobs get more irritated than other parts of your body because it rubs around in your bra all day. Get you some good hydrocortisone cream, rub on a thick layer until it absorbs and do that for a few days. If it doesn't help then go to the Dr. But if you don't have nipple discharge and scabbing, and considering your age, I highly doubt it is Paget's. hello, |
