Ive been diagnosed with PTSD but I think Im bipolar? |
PTSD has mood swings But I have them soooo often and there soo bad.I tried 2 tell my stupid ******* mom that Im bipolar and shes all NOooo U have PTSD.And she acts like ima bad kid when i have ''episodes'' Idk what to do to make people realize its a big deal and Im not just a bad kid. Go to the Main Library in your area. Watch videos, as well as books that deal with comparing mental illness that have similarities. If your mom is not a State Liscensed Doctor, she cannot guess. If you have seen a Psychiatrist who has confirmed that you are, tell him your concerns of how you might be misdiagnosed based on the reasearch that you did in the library. If that does not work, than get a second opinion. See a different doctor/therapist and see what they think. Neither of you are doctors, I assume. If you went to one doctor, and that was their diagnosis, they could be wrong. Doctors aren't gods! Go see someone else, if you want. Cut your mom some slack. I'm sure she has problems you don't even know about. She's not a god either. |
