How much does PTSD Rehabilitation cost, on average? |
I recently learned of a friend who may be suffereing from PTSD due to witnessing a death early last year. Not a doctor, but being in the miltary, I've seen symptoms of this and I think it could be what he's suffering from. Just wondering, ballpark, how much rehab would put his parents back, he's uninsured and not in the military. Please don't answer unless you can reference what you write. I'm seriously trying to help this person, estimates from "I heard that..." and "I think.." won't help. Also, my question is with regards to in-patient help therapy. There are counselors that work as state mental counseling and therapy. they will need to search for the right one. If there is a school counselor that could help too and maybe recommend a counselor for low income or something. A couple thousand...but it completely depends on the facility (private or state-run) and length of stay (if he's inpatient) This totally depends on the kind of assistance he gets. There are low cost alternatives with County and State agencies and there are a variety of treatments that could cost anywhere from 100 bucks a session on up. |
