I have PTSD, is this dissociation?

I guess I should preface this by saying I was sexually abused as a child. I have PTSD, depression and anxiety. So here it is:

This has happened to me before, and I always just called it "dissociation" but after looking at stuff online, I don't know what to call it or if it's considered dissociation.

Sometimes when I get under a lot of stress, or other times just randomly, (and this is a rare occurrence) I will sort of "zone out". I will curl up into a ball, stare, and I won't talk. I can hear people talking to me, but I have no desire, or maybe energy, to talk back. After looking at some stuff online, it says how people with dissociation will continue to shower etc and not even remember doing it. But I don't DO anything. I just sit there. While the person with me gets freaked out. And this can go on for anywhere from 5-45 minutes. Staring, MAYBE nodding, or a mumble. Not moving, no response.

Now I'm starting to think maybe it's some sort of catatonia. Any ideas? Ever seen this?

I don't think I have DID, I don't have any other personalities come out. I just ball up, and kind of shut down. It's like my mind doesn't want to deal with the stress or something.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is not Disassociation called DID Disassociation Identity Disorder formerly MPD Multiple Personality Disorder. What it sounds like is you are just really stressed People with DID . sometimes seems to have when they are stressed different identities come out to try and forget what they are feeling. This is the easiest way to explain it some times the person may have more than one personality come out to hide their fears DO you have this happen? Or do you just ball up till the stress goes away? Have you asked your doctor what is going on?

I would tend to call that dissociation.
